This was an independent Production Practice project that involved building 4 neon style signs.
I designed and built these out of 16ga 1x1 box steel, 1/8th inch acrylic sheeting, and painted MDF as a backing plate. The box steel was then lined with 24v LED tape, which is attached by plastic clips.
I used this as a chance to learn MIG welding and how to create and cut CNC files, as well as practice soldering and wiring.
